Michael and Rose celebrated their gorgeous spring wedding day at The Narrows Landing in Hamilton, Waikato.

The day started off with some pretty heavy rain when I arrived at Michael's parents' place, I had to put my rain jacket on before getting out of the car otherwise I would’ve been soaked straight away. However, by the time I went to Rose's place, the weather was clearing up beautifully.

While Michael, his bro and best mate got ready I was lucky enough to pat. He doesn’t usually doesn't like visitors, but he let me, which made me feel really privileged. (I’m such a dog lover!) It was also his birthday on the same day as Michael and Rose's wedding, he turned 11 on the 11th of the 11th 2022.

Rose got ready at their house with some school friends, her two sisters, and her mom (I also think a niece or nephew was their having a nap). She had a very cute first look with her dad before we headed to The Narrows Landing for a first look between her and Michael. He didn’t get teary seeing her (typical Kiwi bloke held it together) but it was very sweet. We took their couple photos after that before the bridal party showed up.

Narrows Landing staff had set the ceremony up indoors and while we were taking Michael and Rose’s couple photos, Michaels groomsmen moved all the seats outside as we were sure the rain was done for the day.

Rose's parents both walked her up the aisle to Michael and the sweetest part for me was seeing that their arms linked behind her back. It was a touching moment and showed just how much they love and support her. Michael and Rose's vows were so sweet, and they threw me a curveball by exchanging rings while doing their vows instead of separately.

During the reception, Michael's grandmother had their family bell, and every time she rang it, Michael and Rose had to stand up and kiss. It was so much fun and you could tell Michael's grandmother had a blast ringing it every chance she got!

Rose really wanted water in some of their photos, so we headed across the road to Acacia Landing, for some amazing sunset photos. Although we didn't get a proper sunset, the light was still beautiful, and we captured some stunning moody photos on the river.

I absolutely loved capturing all the little details that made Michael and Rose's wedding day so special. I'm grateful to have been a part of their special day and to have captured these beautiful moments that they'll cherish forever xx
