Langdales Vineyard Wedding Christchurch Photographer
Daniel and Jody had a gorgeous ceremony at Bryndwr Chapel in Christchurch. Their ceremony was followed by a reception at the beautiful Langdales Vineyard. They had friends drive them around the city in these awesome Model T cars.
Jody, unfortunately, lost her father the week before her wedding. Her family were absolutely amazing though and pulled through for the wedding. Her two younger brothers stepped up and walked her down the aisle, it was so beautiful and meaningful. I got a little teary.
Canterbury really pulled out the stops for us with their weather. The sun was high and bright, but beautiful. We had so much fun exploring the flat Canterbury fields covered in gorgeous long grass (we don’t have these in Rotorua, so we were in heaven!). We then went down to the river (which honestly had more rocks than water it seemed).
Jody loves sausages, and according to her MC, she really wanted them served at her reception. This wasn’t possible so at the start of the reception (just as dinner was about to be served), she was delivered a couple of sausages on a plate. It was classic.
We snuck Daniel and Jody out just after dinner to explore the gorgeous long grass just behind the restaurant. We wanted a sunset but the soft overcast light was perfect instead! Daniel and Jody thank you so much for having me along, your wedding was gorgeous.
