Doug and Yazmine had their gorgeous wedding at Tironui Wedding Venue overlooking Lake Rotorua. It was a beautiful overcast day.

Doug got ready at a house in Hamurana 5 minutes from Tironui Wedding Venue. Just across the road from the lakefront reserve. Addi (their gorgeous Border Collie) was with the boys and she even went to the groomers! Her coat was so shiny and pretty.

Yazmine hired a house in Ngongotaha and before they got ready we wandered down to the lake edge to take some photos. Some workers installing a new footpath, and they allowed her to make her handprint in the concrete! Yazmine had a first look with her dad, it was really beautiful and he got a little teary to see his little girl all dressed up as a bride. She wrote him a letter and they sat on the bed while he read it. This was one of my favourite moments before the ceremony.

The bridesmaids, Yaz's mum and niece arrived on the trailer of a tractor. It looked so cool! While Yaz and her dad arrived in a gorgeous old Ford truck! After the ceremony, Yaz jumped onto the trailer to drive the bridal party down the driveway for some photos! However, it had a bumpy start as she didn't really know how to drive the tractor.

During the ceremony, they introduced a new tradition and had Jager shots! This was in memory of their friend who had passed away. It was a beautiful tribute and one that will pass through their friend's ceremonies for years to come. For the bridal party photos we jumped in cars and went for a little drive down the driveway to these gorgeous trees and paddocks. I love Tironui Wedding Venue as you can go so many different places on their land for gorgeous photos.

During the reception Doug announced that they were adding to their family, they were getting a Red Border Collie puppy brother for Addi. It was so well done that their were quite a few shocked faces and laughs. For their first dance they did the chicken dance, before they went in for a short embrace! Totally not what everyone was expecting, but it was one of my favourite first dances for the season.

After dinner, we snuck them out for some gorgeous golden light/sunset photos. During their engagement session, Yaz nearly killed me by making me climb a hill so she thought it was payback when I got them to climb a slight hill at their wedding. It wasn't really, I just wanted the view.

Doug and Yaz thank you both for having us along xxx
