  • Send me an email! We’ll talk about your plans and date and set you up with a contract. For weddings, I require a non-refundable booking fee, 30% of your collection. For family sessions I require the $150 creative fee. I’ll also get you to sign a contract outlining my terms which protects us both. All bookings are done electronically through your own client portal.

  • Definitely! Let’s talk about what you’re looking for and what needs to be changed to accommodate your needs.

  • I only book 20-25 weddings a year and open my books 12-18months in advance so I recommend getting in touch as soon as you can.

  • If you choose a collection with two photographers then yes!

  • Yes! I love shooting Elopements! They’re intimate and beautiful.

    For weddings, I love to catch up with you either in person for a coffee or wine, or over zoom if your not in Rotorua. I always love to hear what you are thinking, all the ideas that you’re running through and what you have planned.

    I don’t usually meet up for family and commercial sessions however I’m always keen for a catch up over coffee.

  • I have a great network of photographers that I can reach out to in the case of an emergency situation and will do everything within my power to make sure you are covered.

  • I started photographing weddings in November 2009. I worked for a couple of companies and started my own business in February 2012.

  • A First Look is where the bride and groom see each other for the first time in a private moment where it is just the two to them. These create beautiful memories.

  • Images are delivered for viewing via an online gallery.

  • I usually let you decide this as I love to go to locations that mean something to you as a family. However, I can offer you some suggestions as there are so many gorgeous spots around. We want somewhere that you can explore, have the children run around and play, go on an adventure of sorts.

  • Honestly, this is normal. Even I don’t enjoy having my photo taken, that’s why I love being behind the lens. You definitely won’t be the only one who I’ve photographed that feels like this. I promise I’ll put you at ease, get you moving, and help with some gentle direction and prompts so you don’t feel awkward while hoping to make it fun for you. I’m confident that you will love your photos and treasure the memories.

    If you’re getting married then I encourage you to book an engagement session with me. It’s great practice as you’ll experience how I shoot, and I promise it will ease the nerves on your wedding day. Also, it means you get some great couple photos in normal clothes too.

  • That’s ok! We want your children to enjoy themselves in these photos. I’m used to children who want to run around and play but don’t worry, I have tricks up my sleeve! I promise I will capture a selection of beautiful images that reflect your family’s uniqueness. My sessions are all about capturing you and your family’s different personalities and creating memories together. Bring along your grandparents or your furbaby, or even get your whole family together!

  • For weddings you’ll receive a sneak peek within a week of the wedding. All edited high resolution images will be available to you within 60 days of your wedding. Wedding albums are designed within 60 days of you receiving all of your wedding images.

    For family, For commercial and branding sessions you’ll receive all edited high resolution images within 3 weeks of your session.

  • I shoot with Sony Mirrorless cameras, each camera has two card slots and I write to each card, so there is always a backup while shooting. I have spare batteries and cards.
    Once I’m home I download your photos to my computer, sync them to my online cloud storage and server. I also keep one set of cards with your images on them until I deliver your final images.

  • Yes! I am always prepared for the possibility that some of my equipment might fail.

  • Yes! I have liability and equipment insurance.
