Lake Okareka Lakeside Wedding Venue Photographer
Tim and Bethan celebrated their day on the gorgeous Longfords’ Farm overlooking Lake Okareka. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
Tim and the boys got ready in the Shearers Cottage on Longfords farm. They had enough time to play cricket in their suits before heading up the driveway to finalise the details of the ceremony. This included a new speaker system at the last minute!
Bethan and her girls got ready in a bach just down the road which had a lovely view over Lake Okareka. Bethan had a relaxing morning being pampered by Jorja and Ceitha. Which she totally deserved after all her hard work leading up to the wedding.
Every part of Tim and Bethan’s wedding had meaning. Bethan, her mum and grandfather grew the flowers for the wedding. Her mum made the bouquets and Boutonnière’s (buttonholes). Bethan’s bouquet had Tim’s grandmothers broach on the stem. Her wedding dress was her grandmothers, which had then been passed onto her mother and then onto Bethan. I loved this so much!! Absolutely beautiful.
The sun went behind the clouds for the ceremony so it wasn’t beating down on us too much and came out just after for the group photos. The treelined driveway is my favourite spot on the whole farm, so we used it for a lot of the photos. (When I grow up I want a treelined driveway!).
Tim and Bethan thank you so much for having us along xx
