Eagle Ridge Tauranga Wedding Photographer
Leading up to Theo and Ellyse’s wedding at Eagle Ridge in Tauranga the weather was looking gloom. But on their day the weather God’s came through and the sun was shining. Ice creams were served after the ceremony for the guests and I even got sunburnt!
Everything about their day had meaning behind which couldn’t have been more beautiful. Ellyse’s veil had the same french lace as her mums and she arrived on a gorgeous horse and carriage from Pirongia Clydesdale’s. She was then bagpiped down the aisle to Theo! This was a surprise that Ellyse had kept from him. The signing of the registry was a really significant moment too. Usually, this is just something that the bridesmaid and groomsmen do, nothing too significant. But for Theo and Ellyse they made it significant and a memorable part of the day as Theo’s daughter and mum were their witnesses – super cute!
Sunflowers were a huge part of their day and I loved it. Ellyse’s grandfather grew sunflowers in his garden every year that she was growing up. Their favours to their guests were sunflower seeds, I’m really hoping I can grow mine. Her mother also chromed an old draught-horse horseshoe that was in her grandfather’s garden for over 35 years ago. Her grandfather gave her this straight after the ceremony. It was so adorable, made me tear up, was beautiful!
Theo and Ellyse thank you so much for having us along! I absolutely loved being able to capture your day for you both xx
